DRAMATURGY OF NATURE

The audiovisual project is the result of interaction between young people from the Guajajara indigenous village, Lagoa Quieta MA, with the artist Gustavo Jardim, a resident of the city of Belo Horizonte, MG.
For a week, the artist gave a workshop that dealt with the relationship between cinema and nature. Through conversations and cinematographic practices, young people produced their own images based on the notions of feeling and poetics. The methodology adopted was based on the material of the Cinema: One Hundred Years of Youth program, from the French Cinematheque, from the “Filming nature” season.
This project is part of the Fluid Borders program. In 2017, it was selected to compose the table of community educational audiovisual projects with a focus on dialogue in Amerindian emergencies, produced by Rede Kino Forúm and Cine OP.
