Synopsis
Two children from a big city travel to meet an indigenous community where it’s learned early on that we're all relatives; people, nature, animals. Through the meeting between indigenous and non indigenous kids, IT’S ALL RELATIVE explores ideas about the different forms of family and beliefs in the world.
PROJECT HISTORY
It's All Relative received funding from the Call for Documentaries SAV/MINC/ANCINE focusing on Afro-Brazilian indigenous culture (2018). The project was selected for Cinemundi co-production event in 2019 and 2020, being awarded with the Conecta and Docmontevideo prizes, respectively. In 2021, it participated in the workshop "Potencia tu Documental en Desarrollo", at Conecta Chile Doc . In the same year the project also received the _ ComKids+Brlab Award for projects in development in the Brlab Call , winning a place in the Realyoung Development Category/M:Brane Forum , Sweden.
